That is what our desire is for the men and women in body of Christ. We want to be a help to the men and women who are doing the ministry in their local body of believers. We believe that together we can help us all find our hearts come fully alive and find the glory that God has put into each of our lives. We have the opportunity to go to the Philippines in February of 2011. If you can please pray for us because this is a huge project with many obstacles. For us to pull this off God will have to do many miracles and we will have to fight to persevere. At a meeting I had with a local men’s leader his desire is to see unity among the body of Christ especially with the men. That is a desire that has been on my heart for a while also. As the Summer winds down will you pray about attending our men’s retreat in October? Many men are in need of the restoration of their hearts and the retooling of their souls. That is the focus of our men’s retreat this year. The retooling of  our souls. Jack Hayford and John Eldredge have spoken on four areas that the body of Christ should focus on. Discipleship, Spiritual warfare, Counseling, Healing. Discipleship is basically walking with God. Spiritual warfare is understanding the battles we need to fight in and thru the Spirit. Counseling is thru the Holy Spirit and through others in the body of Christ. Healing is the deep restoration and recovery of our hearts. My prayer for this summer is for all of us to find the spiritual food we need to store up for the life we need to live. Proverbs 10 verse 5 says “He who gathers in summer is a son who acts wisely, but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who acts shamefully.” NAS bible. So let us gather all the spiritual food this summer that will sustain us through our spring and winter. Remember always that the Larger Story God is telling is the one we must focus on. You have a place in that story. I just saw the latest twilight film Eclipse. At the end Bella says she has never fit into what the normal life is. She says that she belongs in Edwards life, that is where she can be who she really is. That is the same for us We do not belong here we are citizens in a different Kingdom. In God’s Kingdom we can be who we really are. May the Lord show you your place in his Kingdom this summer.
